Turn your innovation into climate impact and business growth

OVERVIEW:

CALL
  • The Booster call is exclusively aimed at start-ups and SMEs developing innovative solutions
  • Applicants must select one primary theme; Methan Emissions from Livestock, Plant-Rich Food or Plant Breeding

  • Apply before 15. January 2027

Food & Bio Cluster Denmark is injecting new momentum into green innovation among Danish SMEs in the agriculture and food sectors with a new DKK 8.8 million funding pool.

There’s a new call in town. This time, it’s the Booster, which is exclusively aimed at start-ups and SMEs developing innovative solutions, technologies, products, processes, or business models that can accelerate the transition towards a sustainable and competitive agri-food sector.

This call invites Danish SMEs and startups to apply for funding for innovation projects that contribute to one of three selected themes:

  • Methane Emissions from Livestock
  • Plant-Rich Food – Health and Nutrition
  • Plant Breeding

Applicants must select one primary theme, and the project must demonstrate credible potential to contribute to greenhouse gas reductions and to the development, implementation or scaling of commercially relevant solutions.

We are looking for ambitious projects with strong commercial potential, scalability, and the ability to create measurable environmental and societal impact.

You can apply for DKK 1–1.5 million per project. Funding can cover up to 35 pct. of the total eligible project costs.

Funded projects must contribute to the goals and milestones of Food & Bio Cluster Denmark's mission to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions in the Danish agricultural and food sector by 2050, while strengthening the environment, nature, and a competitive food sector.

Through funding and support, we help companies move promising ideas closer to market while contributing to one of Denmark's most important societal challenges: reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the agri-food sector and enabling the transition towards net-zero by 2050.
